Your First Visit
Your first visit is incredibly important to us because we want to start by building a strong and trusting foundation for our relationship with you! We’ll collect your medical and dental history and Dr. Salem will introduce himself. Considering any concerns you may have, our team will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums as well as taking necessary X-rays, keeping an eye out for any signs of lingering oral health issues so we can treat them before they become serious. We take listening to our patients very seriously, so you’ll always find our experts engaged with what you’re letting us know.
If we spot any oral health concerns, we’ll inform you of our findings and recommended treatment plan, as well as answer any questions you may have. We will also spend time educating you about how to prevent these issues from occurring in the future and will even make product recommendations if you would like! If you decide to move forward with our treatment plan, our front desk staff will walk you through a detailed cost estimate and schedule your appointment at the end of your visit.
Finally, if you have also scheduled a professional cleaning as well as your initial oral examination, one of our skilled dental hygienists will thoroughly remove all plaque and tartar from the surface of your teeth. After thoroughly flossing between each of your teeth and polishing them using a gritty prophylaxis paste, your smile will be all set until the next time you see us!

We’re in-network with several dental insurance plans and are happy to file claims for PPO plans. Our team is also happy to walk you through your coverage and benefits as they apply to any services you receive from us.

As a courtesy to our patients, especially those who require more complex treatment or wish to get procedures that aren’t typically covered by dental insurance, we also offer additional financing through CareCredit.
