Replace Missing Teeth With Confidence
Dental implants provide a stable foundation for replacing one tooth, several teeth, or a full arch. The restoration is supported by an implant in the jawbone rather than a removable appliance.
Depending on your needs, implants may help you:
- Chew a wider range of foods with greater confidence
- Replace a visible gap with a natural-looking restoration
- Support bone where a tooth has been lost
- Rebuild several missing or failing teeth as part of a larger plan
We plan the final tooth so the surgical and restorative phases work toward the same result.
Are Dental Implants
Right for You?
Many adults with missing teeth can consider implant treatment, but candidacy is individual. We evaluate your gums, available bone, remaining teeth, medical history, and how the finished restoration needs to function.
If you are missing most or all of the teeth in one arch, our All-on-4 treatment may also be part of the conversation. We explain which options fit your condition rather than pushing every patient toward the same treatment.

What if You Have Bone Loss?
Bone loss does not automatically rule out dental implants. Some patients need additional treatment to create enough support before implant placement.
When appropriate, bone grafting for dental implants can rebuild areas where bone volume has decreased. We determine whether grafting is needed after evaluating your anatomy rather than assuming every patient requires it.

Your Dental Implant Journey
A Plan Built Around Your Smile
Dental implant treatment happens in stages, with each step designed to create a stable foundation and a natural-looking final result. We evaluate your needs, plan the restoration, place the implant, and monitor healing before completing your new tooth or teeth.
1. Evaluate & Plan
Your treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation of the implant area, your gums, remaining teeth, and available bone. We gather the information needed to determine the best approach and plan where the final restoration should sit. This allows the surgical and restorative phases to work toward the same functional and aesthetic result.

2. Place & Heal
Once your treatment plan is established, the implant is placed in the planned position within the jawbone. The area then needs time to heal and develop the stability needed to support the final restoration. Follow-up appointments allow us to monitor your progress and make sure healing is proceeding as expected.
3. Complete Your Smile
After healing, the final restoration is completed and carefully designed to fit your smile and bite. Dr. Salem considers how the replacement tooth or teeth will look, function, and work with your remaining teeth. Before treatment begins, we explain the expected sequence, appointments, and overall timeline so you know what to expect.

Why Restorative Experience Matters With Dental Implants
A dental implant supports the crown, bridge, or denture that replaces your missing teeth. That restoration needs to fit your bite, feel comfortable when you chew, and blend with your smile.
Dr. Salem holds Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and spent 17 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. His work has appeared in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, and he holds a U.S. patent for the OptiClean dental bur.
When planning your implant restoration, Dr. Salem also checks for worn teeth or older dental work that may need attention. He explains how these issues could affect treatment and which repairs should come first.
