Our Braintree Periodontist
Dr. Matthew D. Lann is a board-certified specialist in periodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He earned his DDS from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery after completing his undergraduate studies at Union College, then received his specialty training at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Medical Science degree that included research at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston.
In private practice since 2003, Dr. Lann brings specialist-level training to every phase of periodontal care, including gum disease prevention, surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease, periodontal cosmetic surgery, dental implant placement, and regenerative therapy. When you receive a dental implant at our Braintree office, the surgical phase is performed by a board-certified periodontal specialist, not a general dentist, which is a level of in-house surgical expertise few practices can offer.
Dr. Lann is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. When not working, he enjoys an active family life with his wife and two children.
